Ahhh… What’s in a name? You know there have been a lot of strange names that have surfaced throughout the centuries and a lot can be determined about a person by their name. I think people subconsciously live up to their name. My Grandma used to have this book of strange facts and there was this one entry that I never forgot because I thought it was the funniest thing I had ever heard of. There was a governor of some southern town and his last name was Hog (and I know what you’re thinking but it wasn’t Hazzard county and his first name wasn’t Boss, this story is an actual account). Anyway, he had three girls, and I don’t know if he just didn’t like girls or what but he named them Ima, Ura, and Wera. Can you imagine the implications and the struggles they had to endure. When a Police Officer asks you your name and you say “Ura Hog” that can’t go well.
