We definitely live in an “entertain me” society any more. Not very many people want to get outside any more and watch a sunset or see life in person. They would rather watch it all happen on t.v. because if they are bored with something they can just change the channel and find something that doesn’t bore them. We have hundreds of channels to choose from if the one we are watching isn’t entertaining enough and we know where they all fall on the remote but we don’t know our next door neighbors name? At least that’s what I heard on a program I was watching last night. Hey, I know my next door neighbors name, do you? It’s Bill, no wait Bob at least I think it starts with a B… No wait Tom, Tim. His name is Tim.
