They say that art imitates life, and this strip imitates life more than most people would believe. My older brothers were twins and like most twins had a bunk bed. My brother Shawn got the top bunk and Chris got the bottom. Shawn, being the inquisitive one wanted to know just how far his bunk was from the floor in case he were to ever fall. So he and Chris climbed up to his bunk and he handed Chris the business end of the tape measure and pushed him off and called down to him “what does it say?” Of course Chris wasn’t exactly in the mood to look at the tape measure and definitely wasn’t in any kind of mood to help Shawn any more. It’s hard to help somebody with a smile on your face when it comes at such great personal and physical sacrifice.
