They say that nobody likes a quitter, and I agree that is normally the case. But if something is just not working or is just plain a bad idea, then you have to accept exceptions to the rule. I used to smoke (I know booo… hissss…) and I liked the mantra that nobody likes a quitter because it gave me an excuse to not have to quit smoking. As the years went by, I started to realize that they were smoking me more than I was smoking them anymore. And so, two years ago this month I embarked on the hardest venture in my life, I quit smoking. I am not going to speak to anybody else’s habit because that’s theirs to deal with, I can only speak of my own. But with all of the new smoking laws coming into place I have to admit that it was the best thing I ever did (there’s also the health thing, that’s good too). I’m still not sure that I want to give up my mustache yet though, baby steps you know?
