It’s In My Rewards Program…
Sunday, June 17th, 2007I think that any time you are trying to do something good for yourself you should have some kind of reward program. A little way to encourage yourself. Like if you are quiting smoking, use the money you save to buy yourself something nice like a nice oxygen tank or something. Or if you decide to quit eating so much fast food you can use that money to get yourself a nice angioplasty. The possibilities are endless. Unfortunately for me, when I quit smoking was right around the same time that gas prices decided to go all kooky. My reward program consisted of gas, that wasn’t very inspiring at all. Woohoo, with the money I saved by not smoking this week, I can get to work.
However, I don’t recommend rewarding your efforts to lose weight and exercise by getting a box of doughnuts, or rewarding your quiting smoking with a fine cigar. Although, if you would like, you can reward yourself for cutting out the fast food by going to a fast food restaurant and telling them to take their time. I don’t see any problem with that.
