The Most Pathetic Thing…
Sunday, July 1st, 2007Have you ever been to a gym lifting weights, feeling pretty good about yourself and your masculine physique, and somebody comes up after you, looks at you like you’re a dork and adds another fifty pounds before she starts lifting? It has a way of making you feel like your the most pathetic thing in the room. But, to be fair, we really did the same amount. Lifting 1 pound 50 times is the same as lifting 50 pounds once right? I’m just not in as big a hurry to finish up as her. So next week I’m going to step it up to 2 pounds 50 times, that will be the equivalent of 100 pounds. Eventually I’ll work my way up to 5 pounds 50 times. Can you imagine it? 5 pounds. That would be like 250 pounds, we’ll see who’s laughing then.
