Ok, it sounds great, I’m convinced. How do I sign up?

Why should I sign up for the newsletter?
Simple with Dufus’ World currently only being a once a week strip, the newsletter will remind you each week when a new strip is live. Also, along with the notification there will also be other little tidbits, like a short anecdote (most likely the blog that goes along with that weeks strip, unless I’m feeling froggy and come up with something special for newsletter subscribers), announcements (if there are any), news (if there is any) and the word of the week.

No problem, I don’t have time to write a big long newsletter every week. The Dufus’ World Newsletter is a short, easy reading newsletter. The Tidbits section is ussually only about one paragraph, just simple fun quick reading. If there are any announcements or news, they are kept short and to the point. And the word of the week is just that, the word and the definition, I just thought it would be fun for me to see what kind of interesting words I can find. So, basically it is a short format newsletter and shouldn’t take more than just a couple minutes of your time. I’m with you, I hate big long newsletters and I never read them either.

Will my e-mail address be visible to everybody on the list?
Absolutely not. This is a true mailing list and the only address that anybody will ever be able to see is the address that the newsletter is sent from. Nobody will ever get your e-mail address from the newsletter.

Will you sell or give away my e-mail address?
Never. I personally hate spam with a passion and would never propagate it in any way shape or form. I would pay to help end spam, therefore I would never take money to help spread it.

Will Dufus’ World start spamming me?
No. See the above question and answer. I will only be using it for the weekly newsletter and on occasion special announcements or promotions, but even those will ussually wait until the weekly newsletter.

How often does the newsletter come out?
The newsletter comes out once a week, ussually on Sunday. But there is the potential, however slight, that there may be a special announcement or promotion that I will send out during the week.

All you have to do is fill out the form on the home page or the newsletter page and click send. After that you will receive an e-mail. Just click on the link in the e-mail and you are signed up. That’s it.

I don’t like giving out my personal information, how much information is required?
I agree with you. If you use the form on the home page, all you have to put in is your e-mail address. If you would like to include your name just use the form on the newsletter sign up page. That’s it, no other information is required.

What if I decide to cancel, is that easy to do, or even possible?
Cenceling is as easy as signing up. You can either follow the link at the bottom of each e-mail or you can go to the form you filled out originally and check the box for unsubscribe instead of subscribe. It really is that easy.
